like so many people, i'm (very carefully)trying to convey the obvious "truth" about the wtb&ts to some of the members of my family.

I love the way you said that AlmostAtheist....it's so true. What opened my eyes was the last district convention on being obedient. The speaker said loud and clear ''Be obedient don't ask questions but remember we make mistakes'' I knew then I was not going to take anymore.

..coming to my house ''sneak attacks'' i havent been home and also they have been leaving messages on my phone.i'm afraid they are gonna set up a meeting for me to come to the hall for an explanation.what should i do if that happens?

I know this sister that is always using ''Jehovah this'' and ''Jehovah that''in public places.I recall one time being with her in a crowded Starbucks,the place was bustling.Within a matter of about 30 mintues the people cleared out.''Literally''she didn't have a clue. She just kept rattling on ...Jehovah this and Jehovah that....use to really embarrass me.''Yeah'' causes me anxiety.
my mom's got this pioneer sister friend who stays at our house every weekend (she stays in some remote town that's far away from the hall) and i go into my bathroom cabinet this morning and she used up half the bottle of daily oil control cream for my face i had in there.
i mean ladies, you already know how expensive those things are!
and i would always just use a pint size amount so the bottle was filled to capacity.

late last night i was driving up a major highway with three lanes going north.
at one point three "clever" people decided it would be fun to all line up across the three lanes and slow down.
they managed to bring the flow to traffic down from 70 mph to 45 mph for about 5 minutes.
Yes ...These people with big trucks think they can bully you right off the road and somertimes they do..yikes!

I know a sister who's been freeloading for thirty years and getting away with it.When you first meet her you fall in love with her.That kind of person... She has broken a lot of hearts and emptied a lot of wallets and still going strong. She's a predator looking for opprotunties. It's amazing !

this weeks local needs basically (summed up) told us not to speak to family members that are disfellowshipped unless they live in your house, and this conversation is very necessary.
also you cannot attend funerals, and weddings, etc.. how sorry i felt for the disfellowshipped one in our hall, and the parents (everyone knew who the talk was about).. to make it even worse, after the talk was over there was another part, and then the song was to follow.... well before the song/prayer the presiding overseer went on stage for another 10 minutes, re-emphasing the local needs talk the other elder has done.. during the prayer... i was praying to whatever god is up there to make these arsewipes pay for what they are doing.
those 2 minutes of prayer were getting me close to crying/screeming.
Another story of heartbreak. I'm so sorry.I think our HEAVENLY FATHER is trying to tell ''US LOVERS OF TRUTH'' something very important. I was told and here I am today expressing my true feelings and reading about yours with all you fine people.
